You no longer have to believe meditation is some 2,000+ year old abstract idea in which we have to sit criss-cross applesauce, put our hands in prayer and clear every single thought. We have 60,000+ thoughts a day.
Our goal isn't to stop these 60,000+ thoughts, but to learn how to work with them. The great news is – you don’t have to follow a strict set of rules. Failure in meditation isn't a thing.
Meditation is a golden opportunity to take time for yourself to relax completely, breathe deeply, slow your pulse, calm your mind, and recharge and renew your body and mind.
When we meditate, we decrease stress and move through the day with greater ease, making more conscious choices. Whether we meditate for 16 seconds or 30 minutes, we become more present and compassionate towards ourselves and others.
